PARTNERSHIPS
Milwaukee’s New Vision of Secondary Education requires a city-wide commitment of education, civic, and political leaders. TALC New Vision’s major partners in strengthening and focusing these commitments are:
| Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
In July 2003, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation awarded a $17.25 million grant to create up to 50 new small high schools throughout the Milwaukee area over five years. The foundation continues to support the efforts for a New Vision of Secondary Education in Milwaukee.

| Milwaukee Public Schools
No other major urban district’s mission and goals emphasize so thoroughly the significance of parent choice in an educational marketplace that features diverse varieties of public education options.
|
| Alliance for Choices in Education
ACE is a nonprofit membership organization of schools, parents, and employers, formed to improve academic results by expanding and protecting educational options for Milwaukee parents.
|
| Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce
