Social Justice Curriculum
The Social Justice and Technology course is an online resource for educators who wish to teach a unit or entire class about issues related to social justice. Educators can access information about oppression and creating strong community ties and learn effective team-building, leadership and instructional techniques to deliver the curriculum. A special technology component provides guidance for creating video blogs (vlogs) as a way for students to find and express their voice. From lesson plan templates to assessment rubrics, educators will find a wealth of materials to implement the course or custom-build their own curriculum. These materials were developed by TALC New Vision staff and a consultant, and were piloted at W.E.B. DuBois High School in 2005–06.
